Blogging
Well now. Lets see if I can blog. First I had to sign up. With the usual pass word and all. I finaly got myself the e mail to verify that! Cool now I have another pass word to right down and lose. But I know this is all a learning curve. The internet with this account and that account. It will all be worth it if we can get together and learn from each other and be friends. We need each other now more that ever to survive. If everyone does the right things we can really make a difference. Buy food from your area, cut down on waste. I mean waste of every kind. Power, water, Things we don't need. If we all did that we would not have an energy crisis. I want to take these things one by one and go over them. With your input we can achieve good things and save money too. Lots and lots of money for us and our children. It makes me feel better every time I do something to save the planet. But just saying that dosen't grab the attention like SAVE MONEY does. Saying saveing the planet might seem to big a task for some folks. But we can if we all do it together. JS

I agree with all you say here. I do what I can and am trying to think of new things everyday to save, reuse. Lets see...I changed to the compact florscent bulbs, I find esy ways to save water like turning it off while brushing my teeth, turn lights off when I leave the room, wash out my ziplock bags, plan my trips so I can accomplish alot in only 1 trip to town. Before I purchase something I really think about if I NEED it or just want it. I THINK before I buy.I love the Goodwill and if I just have to buy that CD or book, I buy used. These are only a few things one can do to reduce and save. What are some of the ways you all save?
I had a great idea the other night - what if we made it mandatory that every cell tower had to have a wind generator attached? Or if we just did wind generators and attached the cell antennae to the tops of them? Now, wouldn't that make perfect sense?
